The Kentucky Smart on Crime Coalition is working to move expungement legislation forward in the 2016 General Assembly. Returning citizens with low-level, class D felony convictions in Kentucky would be able to have their records expunged after certain criteria is met. Kentucky Smart on Crime believes this will help give people a second chance and get them back into the workforce.
